Odd that there’s no effort to provide any shade on the walkway to the ship/island. I feel like Disney could do a better job creating shade from the sun across their properties-it gets so hot especially with the sun reflecting off the hard surfaces.

We did the same itinerary in May and really enjoyed it! Was surprised how much we liked Reflection after doing a ton of Royal Caribbean sailings.

Just means you have to go back again when it's done! We went to CocoCay before it became Perfect Day! Haven't gone back yet but we will in February, kinda sad Royal just came in and took over everything and got rid of that cultural aspect. Might have to hop on Disney to do this when it's done!

Well this is the first vlog I've watched where people actually go around tasting key lime pies which is somewhat unique. I am curious how much money you spent buying/eating all of these pies and what did you do with the remainder of the pies you did not film eating? Did you go back on the ship and indulge in more food? Going on the ship next week (our 3rd cruise on her) with KW the next day but as I do not like that pie, will do my own tour at various stops around the island. Thanks for sharing your journey! That walk from the pier is way too long in that heat. I’m in my late 50’s and not on a wheelchair but do have hip/back problems that would keep my from doing that walk. If there isn’t a shuttle from the ship, I would have to miss out and stay back on the ship. Although, the beach is gorgeous, there doesn’t look like much to do and those flys were swarming that food. Way too many flies. I watched Ben& David’s vlog and they wouldn’t even eat the food because you could see the fly all over the food and some were dead just laying on the food. Gross! Love your vlogs as always though. I found you both through shout out from Peter & Kitra on their channel.

We just went to Royal Caribbeans Coco Cay for the first time this May, and it was 100x better than how this place looks😬. It's kind of crazy how well put together Coco Cay is compared to how sparse and underwhelming this looks.

I think the island will be really nice in a couple of years when all of the planted things grow in. Now, it looks barren and almost like a desert. The walk will be too much with no cover but even that I could deal with but the flies…nope. That was more than the usual it seemed. No way would I be eating anything there.
